According to mirror.co.uk, Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger wants to bring two experienced Italians in the January transfer window. I know both players from the Italian Serie A and I would have mixed feelings if these two really join as De Rossi would fit nicely in the squad, but Iaquinta is just another Adebayor and would definitely fail to make an impact.

Arsenal have adopted a new scouting policy as manager Arsene Wenger looks to bolster his squad when the transfer window opens in January.

Rather than concentrate on emerging young talent, Wenger wants to bring in men who are proven at the highest level.

On his current list of targets are Juventus striker Vincenzo Iaquinta and Roma midfield player Daniele De Rossi.
