Maybe they were not wrong, those who said Tomáš Rosický’s season was over
Everything started on January the 26th for Tomáš. Almost a year later, we are still wondering what is wrong with him and when he’ll ever come back. I bet few predicted Eduardo to come back before the Czech magician.
The latest news are not nice. Apparently, Tomáš should be back in two months after undergoing further surgery on a tendon injury. Coach Arsene Wenger declared:
The situation looks very positive. They have taken a lot of scar tissue out of his leg and the vibes I got from the surgeon were very positive. I think he could return between six to eight weeks.
That’s the prediction, but it’s been like that month after month after month. The problem with such injuries is that a comeback is not easy, you have to take it a step at a time and usually, all this requires time.
Fortunately, with Nasri performing the way he’s doing and the young guns confirming they are ready for more serious business, Tomáš’ injury may not be that hard to accept, but still, he’s one of the most talented footballers in Europe so let’s hope he does recover in eight weeks, as predicted.
