Flamini and Senderos suffer yet another blow at Milan

Correction (Change of title to Senderos)

For all those of you who ask progress on Flamini and Senderos away from Arsenal, here’s the latest: Yesterday, the two suffered yet another blow as they started in the side which crashed out of the Italian Cup after extra time. The two surely didn’t enjoy the evening, especially when you consider that only 2000 tickets were sold for a stadium capable of hosting 85,000. Burnley’s Carling Cup win featured more spectators if you know what I mean.

As for their performance, Philippe looked confident at the back and almost saved his side in Lazio’s second goal after bravely blocking Zarate’s effort but as he used to be with Arsenal, there were moments where he was very tentative.

Mathieu, on the other hand, is still struggling a lot to adapt to a formation much more different than Arsenal’s and his best moments came from long-range efforts. Although a possible comeback is very unlikely for the Frenchman, it is being rumoured that following Gallas’ outburst, Senderos may as well make his comeback from loan before this ends next summer.
