EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal are gunning for Tevez

ARSENAL are lining up a stunning bid for Manchester United’s loan star Carlos Tevez.
Friends of Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger claim he is confident of brokering a deal that will shatter Arsenal’s £11million transfer record for Sylvain Wiltord and lure the Argentine star to the Emirates next summer.
Tevez, 24, joined United on a two-year loan deal costing £5million in the summer of 2007. His Old Trafford deal runs out next June. United have still not ratified a permanent Tevez deal that will cost them £32million.
Just to make sure to give you all needed information for you to judge such rumour, this is what Tevez said last week on a possible new contract with Manchester United:
We have been talking about it and everything is very advanced, as a consequence I think it will be sorted soon. I feel respected by my team-mates and by the technical staff.
