Adebayor, “You cannot say that the title is over because they only need to lose three games and we are back in it”

Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor believes the Gunners are still there for the title race despite not playing the football people expect them to play. He told Setanta Sports:

We are fifth in the table and not playing the football that people expect us to be playing. But for us the most important thing is that we keep on going and keep on believing in ourselves and thinking we can do something. That is the only way we can improve our football.

If we didn’t believe we could still win the title, we might as well just ask the boss if we could spend the season back home enjoying ourselves with our families.

Last season we were ten points ahead of Manchester United and at the end of the day they won the title so the most important thing is for us to keep going until the end of the season and we’ll see what we can do.

You cannot say now that the title is over because they only need to lose three games and we are back in it. We are in a better position because everyone has forgotten about Arsenal. They are talking about Liverpool, United and Chelsea. Arsenal are still alive and at the end of the season we will see what we can achieve.
