The £1m Arshavin question: Where will he play when Tomas and Theo fully recover?

As you surely know by now, Arsenal have signed Russian playmaker Andrei Arshavin. As explaining to you who the player is would be useless as it’s already all-over the official website of Arsenal, I would instead like to understand where he will be playing now and where he will be playing when all our injured players make their comeback.
There’s a lot of enthusiasm following the signature of the player and I can understand that, after all, he’s now the new holder of the club’s record transfer fee. What I am however perplexed about is his position. I do understand that as it is, this player may be very much needed because he can take the Eboue role on the right(who sadly enough is being driven out of the club by many, from what I’ve been reading) with maybe Vela on the left and Nasri taking a more central position, just as Wenger mentioned in today’s interview.
But let’s not forget that he’s cuptied for the Champions League and so it’s not that he can help in the club’s primary objective of the season. Also, have we forgotten that the major problems of this side are in CENTRAL midfield? And finally, I can’t honestly understand how the line-up will be when Theo, Cesc and Tomas make their comeback from injuries. I mean next season, we will have Nasri, Vela, Theo, Tomas and Arshavin all fighting for a regular place on the right/left wing.
As it is, I repeat, Carlos and Andrei would be great to have on both wings, as both are incredibly fast and incredibly talented, but I don’t want to be in Arsene’s shoes when the others make a full recovery from injury. Don’t get me wrong, I am very happy that we have even more options up-front but wouldn’t it have made more sense to spend the money on a holding midfielder such as Javi Alonso, who was so-much chased by Wenger last summer?
