Arsenal coach Arsene Wenger was clearly disappointed with his side’s narrow defeat against Manchester United but promised the side will take a different approach next week in the 2nd leg of the semi-final.
He said:
I believe the tie is still open. They can have regrets because they didn’t score a second goal. It is up to us to make them regret they didn’t score a second goal. We are disappointed because we lost.
It is advantage to Manchester United after they played well. But I am confident because I believe we will be on top next time. We will see a different Arsenal team. I believe we can do it at home. It is an opportunity for us to show character and mental strength and I am confident we will do it.
