what about naldo hes 6ft 6!!! we would have no problems with set pieces if we signed him. and if adebayor goes we should go for huntelaar if it was possible if not then berg. and as for the centre of midfield i don't even need to say much it looks like we want melo. have to wait and see what happens there. although i would like to see cana or miguel veloso.

Fiorentina suggest that If Arsenal agrees to include Eboue a deal could be done to see Melo at Arsenal. They have said that Arsenal is the only club close to matching their buy-out clause. However, Melo's Agent is trying to up his client's potential wages by claiming that they have an agreement with Juventus. Why he has agreement with Juventus when Juve have not contacted Fiorentina is very suspect indeed and could even amount to 'Tapping'. If you understand Italiano, you can read it all on Fiorentina website.

Maybe it is early.

Maybe not, Wenger said he would like to bring everybody in before they start back in pre-season training in July.

PS: Monday hopefully, Ramon.

We're not even a week into the official transfer window and we're already speculating on no midfield signings. The fact that Wenger had been extremely busy in Asia promoting the affiliates of Arsenal could as well have hindered the process. Furthermore, I think it's been of more importance to him to tie up existing players before venturing out into the market again, so Wenger could very well be hard at work in his dungeon watching game day videos over and over again before trying to decide on a shortlist of targets. I don't think it's as easy as just reeling off names and I suspect Arsene makes perhaps only 2-3 names out of possibly hundreds of potential players.

i dont feel that we need melo or anyone else 4 that matter, we got 4 players ho can feel that spot and they are all senior players song denilson diaby and nasri. so i really think that there will b no signing in that position. and its really for the best.
