Injured Carlos Vela plays only 10 minutes for Mexico in Gold Cup

Arsenal striker Carlos Vela’s first game for Mexico in the Gold Cup lasted only ten minutes after the young Mexican suffered what looked to be an ankle injury after a tackle from behind in the game against Nicaragua.
Vela tried to continue but was then substituted by Alberto Medina.
The Gunners’ first friendly game of the season is on July 18th against Barnet with their official campaign kicking off on August 15 away at Everton in the Barclays Premier League.
