25 mils is a good step forward in easing our debt. The recession is pinching the clubs really hard and Arsenal with its property redevelopments is hit harder than most. Real Madrid and Citeh are the exception, not the rule. Barca haven’t bought anyone and are trying to offload Eto’o before the end of his contract, ManU have replaced Ronaldo and Tevez with Valencia and Owen and Ferguson said that was it for the summer, AC Milan is offloading players etc etc.

The dreamers among you can drool while reading on whoever the press links to us but come September we’ll have to do with the team we have now. It’s not the end of the world either, we will be stronger than last year while none of Chelsea, ManU or Pool look like they will (ManU certainly won’t).

Oh and Vieira is a legend but he is not even close to premiership quality now (that is when he is not injured).

Mike – please, xabi alonso is a good player (not amazing btw) but hes not the sort of player we’re missing.
He could replace fabregas, but would be awful next to him in a pair.
If we started playing 3 CMs, then nasri could perform his role just as well, and will get better. Rosicky, if he gets anywhere near his old self would be 10 times better.
Im not sure what “the missing piece”. Im not sure there is just one piece missing. I think we have a pretty strong squad throughout, cover in all positions, but if we really want to win something, strengthening in either defence, midfield or up front would probably help a lot.

1. He wants to go and he anit no henry so let him go and we need a out and out goal scorer, i bthink we should get van nistelrooy and like bobby said get vieira back for 1 season coz we not got enuff experiance and its goin be another wot if seasons.

He can head the ball and has experiance come to think of it so can vieira

Now on the other side I have been taking a look at mr chamakh his finishing does nhot look much better than that of adas but his style of play will suite us much better as he seems to be a very good drippler…But would love Huntelaar as I believe he will feast on the chances the team will create for him…Why not just sell bendtner and buy both of them??

I believe our biggest issue is that we have a big squad but with many many average players..Why not sell the likes of diaby and Bendtner and denilson and rather reduce the numbers a bit but have quality everywhere you look???Doesnt Van P,Dudu, Huntelaar and chamakh sound better?

I do believe that eboue still has a vital role to play this season as he is very good back up to sagna and he was much improved at the end of last season and his crosses are much better than that of sagna..Hope gael and sagna been practicing how to cross a bit during the pre season…

We need a dm more than anything else and why everyone is choosing cesc as a dm.then we should go for a finisher eduardo isn’t one neither chamach who I think is a bad player he is a mini adebayor (same style) so huntelaar is the one or it seems everyone have forgotten that etoo is avaible. And for the dm we should buy Cana/veloso/toulalan.

So the formation would be:
Almunia
sagna. Kolo. Verma. Clichy
Cana/toulalan/veloso
rosicky/nasri. Cesc. Arsha
Vper. Etoo/huntelar

Now ur the one who has got it right we need a holding midfielder who is a leader and has got vision and thats Cana since Melo is gone to protect Fabrigas and make him more creative cheers bro.We also need Kolo.and from Ade sale Wenger should bring chamakh for he’s fast and skillful than Ade.
