Carlos Vela agent reveals he is to meet with Arsenal for new contract
Having played an important role in Mexico’s Gold Cup win and days later in the World Cup Qualifier game against the United States, Carlos Vela returned to Arsenal and is yet to feature, leading to a number of transfer rumours suggesting that the Mexican will leave Arsenal on loan to join Fulham.
But today, Mexican website Excelsior published an interview by Carlos’ agent, Eduardo Hernández, in which he reveals that Fulham’s transfer rumours are completely false:
(Translation follows)
There is no way he will join Fulham or any other team since on the first week of September I am scheduled to meet with Arsenal’s representatives to renegotiate Carlos’ contract.
The transfer rumours are completely false, published by Internet websites for the sake of having readers, since Carlos has no intention of leaving Arsenal on a loan or permanent basis.
The reason why he didn’t travel to Scotland with the rest of the squad was because he is recovering from injury, nothing more.

Very good Mr Hernandez and i hope you will pass on to Carlos our regards and to get better soon !!
Well i think he has warmed the bench long enough at Arsenal.. If Wenger will not give him minutes this next season, i dearly hope he leaves Arsenal for a club that will allow him to play.
Carlos will get his chance.. He is only 20 and he needs to become a little more aggressive in his play..
No he doesnt, hes already aggressive. He doesnt need to change his style, he just needs experience.
Davi your wrong man.. Yes he needs more experience and its not about changing his style at all.. but if u look at him play you’ll see he gets pushed off the ball far too easily
That’s good to hear, our future striking star doesn’t need to go any where. He’s the future Henry and I believe will make the same impact.
yeah really a good news
He was finally mentioned on the official website, even it’s about his ankle injuries..
I think this season is really important for him because the formation of 433 has given him more chances than before. And he has to make himself stand out in the crowd of forwards to earn him a more regular place in the squad.
Big shame he’s out for a month. With Nasri, Rosicky and Theo all out, I’m sure he was in Wenger’s plan for these first games. It will not be easy to secure a regular place when he comes back.
Carlos will do just fine, let him get his ankle all adjusted and he will surely have the goals coming in 1 month!
get better Vela! Lets go Gunners!
