[Video] In Thomas Vermaelen style, Philippe Senderos hits brace for Switzerland
Who said goals should come from the forward line? Just like Thomas Vermaelen in the Premiership, Philippe Senderos enjoys not one, but two goals with his National side as they ease past Luxembourg 0-3 away from home.
The 24-year old helped Switzerland win their game with two headers in the 6th and 8th minute respectively, sending a strong signal to Arsene Wenger who only used him in the Carling Cup this season.
Cesc Fabregas also found the net for his National side, his goal can be seen here.

bravo! come on sendy we love u!
apart from the goals, he played an awful game..defensively
Seriously? Damn, that’s no good news then.

I know senderos is under pressure to make sure that he secures a place in the first team of arsenal. People like Nasiri, Carlos vela, Eboue, have to struggle too to secure their places. This shows that arsenal will perform very well uder such compitition among players, which was not last season.
Nasri struggling? Firstly he’s injured and on the verge of recovering. He was by far one of the best players last season, excluding him from the starting XI is a plain no. And secondly i definitely think any Arsenal fan would rather have Wenger shuffle the starting XI so that Nasri starts ahead of Diaby. Whoever recalls last year’s game at Anfield, the 4-4. I recall that the trio, Cesc, Arshavin and Nasri played tremendously all three together, so I think there’s no doubt that there’s space for him. When Denilson returns, then Wenger may start putting him in for Song whenever he needs a break, and i think Denilson is a plausible sub for Song? He performs adequately generally and at some point Song will need a break.
