Half-Time Thoughts and Analysis
In a way, Arsenal were called into erasing the 1-1 draw suffered in Holland fifteen days ago and so far, they are doing it to perfection. Apart from a small lapse in concentration in defense which allowed AZ to come forward with ease, it’s been a half where the Gunners dominated, produced some nice football and of course, scored twice.
Samir Nasri’s goal is the perfect example of a great run, wonderful footwork and cool finish, the right way for the Frenchman to let us know he’s back.
Not much to add. Olympiakos Piraeus are losing away at Liege so this could be the day when we take a huge leap towards the next round of the Champions League.
At half time, it’s Arsenal two, AZ nil.
