Chris, I was wondering if u could give your opinon on why no-one is talking about evans' foul on drogba? that was the worst challenge I've seen since the eduardo one, with the difference that evans' was clearly pre-meditated! Surely he should receive some sort of extra ban for that given the current climate?
It just seems to have slipped under the radar (thanks largely to ferguson taking the heat) - but its infuriating to keep hearing these united players bitching about being unfortunate on refereeing decisions, when I think you'd agree, arsenal has had it much, much worse in big games recently

Hello Erick,

All indications are that Djourou will not play again this season or at the very earliest April.

Off subject, well done to Bedntner for being Danish Footballer of the Year.

Since 2001 one only two teams in the PL have scored even 80 plus goals (Arsenal twice I believe and Man U three times). Nobody has even reached 90. We are almost halfway to 80 with 44 more needed in 27 games. Even 2 goals per game average (easily attainable) we would get to 90 goals (hasn't been done this decade). Two goals per game is a little more than we've average the last few seasons, but what we easily reached earlier in the decade. It would be great to see us approach 100, but I would be happier if we score a few less and keep fewer goals against so we have better balance and the ability to win 1-0 matches.

Well I wake up to find that Bedntner is to have an operation which may keep him out until January.Add to that Walcott,Diaby,Clichy,Fabianski and Vela all with no definite return, and on top of that a mixture of meaningless friendlies and two vital qualifiers for France and Russia, so to pre empt the squad for the Sunderland game is a little early.

Surely not the injury curse is going to strike with a vengance yet again.

Denilson will be fit to start since he'll be back during the 2nd week of international break and so will the rest, with the exception on Nicklas who will undergo surgery.

Carlos was very unlucky to suffer injuries when he would have surely played.

Yeah Chris and what about Vela, Traore & Bendtner I'm worried if the Mexican doesnt get enuff playing opportunities we might lose him like we almost loaned out Merida! I feel the team is performing well because of the pressure on their positions look at Almunia vs Don Vito & Fabianski, Clichy vs Gibbs. I even think Diaby would start performing once he realizes the likes of Eastmond, Merida and Frimpong might just start gunning for his position.
