Drogba joins Lampard, Bosingwa and Ashley Cole on sidelines, all set to miss Arsenal game
Chelsea will most certainly be without Didier Drogba, Frank Lampard, Jose Bosingwa and Ashley Cole for their top-of-the-table clash with Arsenal on November 29th.
The Ivory Coast International will in fact be out for three weeks after sustaining a broken rib after clashing with Manchester United Johnny Evans in Chelsea’s 1-0 win.
Midfielder Frank Lampard will also be out for three weeks after suffering a torn muscle in his left thigh during training ahead of the International friendly against Brazil.
Also, Jose Bosingwa underwent knee surgery and will be out for three months and finally, Ashley Cole seems to have rushed his comeback to football and aggravated his previous injury and may also be sidelined for three weeks.

Sweet!
it doesnt matter if they all fit, if they came at us wit a full squad, we will still kick a**
Go Gunners…
one more thing: get well soon RVP.
u are rite eze
Seems we`re not alone when it comes to injuries all the top clubs suffer at international time that`s why they need so much depth and only Arsenal have that depth without having to break the bank, or having a sugar daddy looking over our shoulder like a landlord. Is a times like this that we really do appreciate the wisdom, policy and dedication of Arsene Wenger. Take a bow sir.!
chelsea willdefinitely be weak without these players.good for arsenal.
Drogba is a huge loss. He has realy carried them up front. I suppose Ivanovic and Zhirkov will come in and Deco for lampard. Malouda or Kalou up front for Drogba but this is a game we realy could win and overtake Chelsea.
There is no way you guys can beat chelsea, it’s always a surprise for me when people mentions this or that player being out therefore the team will lose…there’s hefty competition for positions at chelsea, do not forget that Zhirkov will be looking to solidify his chances at making himself a permanent fixture in the squad, you guys lost to ManCity drew against west ham and lost to man u…we’ve had our losses too, but I still believe that while you guys may have flashy firepower chelsea’s tactical supremacy will take them through, ancelotti is no fluker, the only flukes he’s involved in are those when he losses.
We looked like winning the Manchester United game and except for some unlucky defending the Man City one. We fell asleep against West Ham but we weren’t out played like Chelsea were against Wigan.
and a more pessimistic (from our pov) take on chelsea’s injury situation :

in short: lampard and a. hole. might make it against us
it is a match formality drogba and lampard r fit. dnt deceive us. up gooners.
Injury or no injury, Arsenal will still play their game even if it’s d 3rd eleven. der’s a unique n distinct DNA running thru d club irrespective of which team is fielded. GUNNERS till eternity!!!
Watever, i blve arsenal wll weep chelsea’s ass even wth 3 drogbas. Come on Arsenal!! Gunners 4 life
And you know what, the guy got a yellow card for this tackle, and Johnny Evans gets off scot free.
Can you believe that?
