Cesc Fabregas happy at Arsenal, “I’m in my seventh season now and I’m really happy, better than ever”
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has no intention of leaving the North London club.
In an interview published on the club’s official website, the Spaniard rubbished transfer rumours which constantly link him with a move back to Spain and back to Barcelona.
The 22-year old said:
It does not affect me at all because it’s been going for years. To be honest I just don’t think about it, I don’t want to and I don’t think I should because I’m at a great club and in a great team.
I’m very happy where I am and there is very long season in front of us. The last thing I want to do is get disconnected from what I have to do which is to play football for my team and for the Club that pays me. I’m really looking forward to a great season with Arsenal.
Earlier this week, Barcelona’s Lionel Messi declared Fabregas could leave the Gunners because he’s not winning any titles, but the captain believes he can go on and win silverware with the Gunners.
When asked about committing his future with Arsenal, Fabregas said:
Why not? I have never thought about it. I’m only 22. You never know what your career will bring but why not? I’m in my seventh season now and I’m really happy, better than ever.
We can [win titles] here. I have played some Finals, fought for Premier League titles.
It’s true that at the end of the season we have sometimes had some feeling that we haven’t done it but I’m really happy with the way this club focuses on winning things and I’m sure we are more than capable of doing it this season.

I definitely see a difference in Fabregas this year now that he is captain vs the beginning of last year. He is really fitting well into the role of a team leader, he is keeping his cool, encouraging others, working his tail off and trying to put the team on his back often. He is also dribbling and attacking much more than we’ve ever seen and been getting some great shots off. Last year we rarely would get a shot off outside of the 18, this year we’ve got Cesc looking to shoot much more and Denilson now that he is back has ripped another great long range goal off.
wengers right watch deni’s goal again and you will see it is a typical brazilian goal look at kaka’s shots or even maico especially the leap on deni just after he hit it showed the potential in his shots, fantastic goal fantastic performance, and i must say aswell for both
