Arsenal midfielder Aaron Ramsey experienced mixed feelings this week. A regular with the young guns in their Carling Cup defeat away at Manchester City, the 18-year old was brave to recover from that and produce a fine display for Arsenal on Saturday against Stoke City.
Speaking of his manager Arsene Wenger, the Welshman declared that there is nobody as good as the Frenchman to manage young players.
Ramsey told the News of the World:
The way Arsene manages young players is the best around. His man-management is excellent. He is the boss and all the players have respect for him and listen to what he has to say.
Arsene is really intelligent and knows what he is doing. Just look at the number of players who have come through the ranks here. He’s doing something right.
For a young player a lot goes through your mind, but Arsene is a father figure who encourages you and tells you how to improve. He has already had a big impact on my career.
