Arsene Wenger on Tomas Rosicky, “He could be back in 10 days. It’s not a bad injury at all”
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger provided news on Tomas Rosicky, his injury and his contract extension which according to the Frenchman will soon arrive as a sign of how much he believes in the Czech International.
Ahead of Sunday’s game away at Liverpool which Rosicky will miss, Wenger said:
I look first for the quality of the player, at his attitude and his leadership. The injuries can happen to anybody. He is not responsible for what happened to him.
I want to extend his contract so that shows you how patient I am. I think he can return to his previous level.
He could be back in 10 days. It’s not a bad injury at all. It’s a Grade One injury, a muscular groin injury, so that is usually 10 days.
He has been out for 18 months and to get your body back to go with such violent physical effort you will have little set-backs.
At the moment he has small set-backs that keep him out for eight to 10 days but once he can regularly play again he will come back to his normal level.

one hopes he is right,with Tom you never know. also with Dudu. every sports doc and psychol will tell you, that very few players at this level can really make it back to their highest level after such a long term setback. but the trust he has in him is incredible, again you hope Arsene is right. to me Rosicky lost a lot of his cutting edge, yes he sees the game marvelously well, but he loses the ball often and easily now, AND what happened to his shot ?he had a monster 20-30m shot like Nedved! that seems to be gone now,

AW buy CORRECT experience 2 or 3 players to add to the quality we have.
rosicky was so incredible that he was in the nike advert scorpion in the ship 3-a-side remember with eric cantona hosting it thats how quality he was, even in the world cup 2006 the performances the goal against usa too WWOOW cant wait for him too come back within 2 weeks will take him a while to get back to full form but wow will he be incredible again

it’s simply unfortunate hw a player’s career is all ruined by injuries…rosicky has just come back after wat..16 months? n here we have another injury-great!
