Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger was speaking in yesterday’s press conference ahead of the Burnley game about the status of the injured players, revealing how Brasilian midfielder Denilson is ruled out of the game.

He said:

We had a short recovery time [from Sunday’s game] so we have a few bumps and bruises.

Denilson will not be available but apart from that everybody should travel. We have Eboue back in the squad. Denilson should be available for Saturday [against Hull] but we still have to check that it’s not a recurrence of his back problem.

The Gunners will face 13th-placed Burnley at Turf Moor today at 19:45 UK time.
