Arsene Wenger’s last injury update on Cesc Fabregas, Denilson and Armand Traore ahead of Hull

Submitted by Jeffrey on December 19, 2009 – 3:00 9 Comments

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has finally revealed how long captain Cesc Fabregas will be sidelined and provided the estimation is correct, the Spaniard will return in 10 days, hoping to be available for the home game against Aston Villa.

On Fabregas and other injured played, the Frenchman said:

Cesc Fabregas has a minor hamstring problem. It could keep him out for eight to 10 days.

If all goes well he will be fit for next Sunday [against Aston Villa]. If not he could miss one more game.

We have Denilson back and, of the short-term injuries, the shortest is Traore and he will not be back [for Hull].

injuries or no injuries, all arsene have got to do is to splash the cash he has been keeping. we have good players but we need stronger ones and more experienced ones..

I wonder why AW cant see that we need somebody like Drogba. I mean a strong striker. I’m afraid that this january will be like the other ones past. He is saying that he will only buy if he get quality one what about villa and he like playing arsenal way so wenger please buy him or a player strong like him, we really need if we are to win any trophy this season.

villa = a strong striker??? errr no! i am sick of stupid morons going on about david villa! i cant believe there are some idiots out there hu still think arsene should and will buy him. at the end of the day, we have arshavin hu is better and wenger would never pay the ridiculous asking price for villa. some people need to stop dreaming and start thinking realistically, IF wenger does buy then he will probably buy someone like chamakh or gignac or maybe even someone that no one has heard of like when he bought vermaelen. evryone knows that wenger wont spend more than 20 mill on a player so get used to it.

Mr AW needs to sign som one bt if he thinks spending money wont be wise then he shld get someone like Huntlaar on loan to bridge our domestic games space.
