[Vote] Sol Campbell signs. Is he a big gamble or not?
Written by Chris on January 15, 2010 18:00
It’s now official. Sol Campbell makes a surprise return with Arsenal and as I understand, it will be a pay as you play deal until the rest of this season. But is it more than that?
I quote:
Critics suggest that, while Arsenal are technically superior to their rivals, their relative youth may hinder them when the title race reaches its final lap.
According to Campbell, that’s where he comes in. The 35-year-old won the ‘double’ at Highbury in 2002 and was the defensive rock of the ‘Invincibles’ side which completed an unbeaten season two years later. If Campbell returns to Arsenal, he wants the impart the knowledge of those past glories to the present squad.
Today’s is a multiple-choice poll which I kindly ask you to vote above and to leave a comment to explain your decision.
