Arsenal vs Bolton preview: One game, two goals and we go top. Plus favourite line-up

Regardless from which point of view you look at tomorrow’s game, this is a golden opportunity which simply put, cannot be missed.
If my corrected calculations – after the kind help of some of our readers on Monday – are not wrong, we need to win by a two-goal margin to go top of the table on goal average and even if Chelsea would have one game in hand, Hull City away is no piece of cake for them.
Based on what we’ve seen on Sunday, I am convinced Bolton will not trouble us at the Emirates but you never know what change of plans they will opt for in order to at least take a draw from the game.
Bolton Wanderers
I was very, very disappointed with their behaviour in the weekend as it’s one thing to play a physical game but another to go out there with the sole intention of hurting your opponent.
Hopefully, the beautiful game of football will again prevail tomorrow, although I repeat I was incredibly impressed with the tenacity showed by our lads at the Reebok.
Favourite line-up
Will Wenger rotate? Not necessarily, considering the F.A. cup away at Stoke is next, a game for which Arsene said he’ll use a couple of new faces. Having said that, I hope to see Carlos Vela starting on the left and Gael Clichy on his beloved left-back position.
Sagna – Vermaelen – Gallas – Clichy
Rosicky – Diaby – Fabregas – Vela
Eduardo – Arshavin
It will be interesting to see whether Manuel Almunia can confirm his excellent performance of last Sunday. As for Theo Walcott and Denilson, both back in the squad, I would take it easy and not risk them from the first minute, especially when you consider that both of them suffered back-to-back injuries this season.
Pre-match Interviews
Arsenal can win the title according to Owen Coyle.
The new Bolton boss was impressed by the Gunners on Sunday and according to him, the fact that they closed the gap on Chelsea after being 11 points behind them not long ago has “galvanised” Arsene Wenger’s side.
He said:
They are [title contenders], absolutely, and I think it’s all credit to them.
They are title challengers after not even just being written off – they were totally dismissed. I think they went 11 points behind at one stage and all credit to Arsenal and Arsene. He has galvanised them.
They have had horrendous injuries to strikers, they have changed their forward line. People think they have an unconventional forward line with smaller types but their movement and their ability speaks for itself.
So yes, they will be there until the end of the season, I’ve no doubt about it, and have a real chance of winning it.
On the reason why Arsenal players suffer so many injuries, Arsene Wenger believes that rushing players back could be the cause as he now hopes not to see the likes of Theo Walcott and Tomas Rosicky again on the sidelines.
The Frenchman said:
We have analysed absolutely everything.
It is strange because the more injuries you get, you then seem to get even more because you always play the same players.
Also, you rush some players back and then you have more chance to get them injured again.
