Andrey Arshavin, “If we want to be champions we have to win all our remaining games”

Written by Renzo on February 12, 2010 – 4:00

If Arsenal are to stand a chance in the title race, they need to win all their remaining games.

That is the opinion of many, including Russian midfielder Andrey Arshavin, who speaking to his official website, said how the Gunners simply cannot drop any more points.

Speaking after the 1-0 win at the Emirates against Liverpool, the 28-year old said:

Of course, the result is good for us, but if we want to be champions we have to win all our remaining games. It’s difficult to say whether it’s (do-able), but after these results, it looks real.

Back to the Liverpool game, I think that there were nearly equal teams playing. I liked the way we played.

We were not afraid to play, the whole team was well coordinated. If I can say so, all the Arsenal players played the same football, that is we understood each other and combined.
