Barcelona defender Gerard Pique joined fellow team mates and the club’s directors in saying that Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas will leave the Gunners to join the Spanish giants, one day.

It’s not the first time the 22-year old has been linked with a possible move back to Spain and according to the ex-Manchester United defender, this is no longer a matter of how but when.

He said:

I still think he’ll be wearing the Barca shirt one day, he is a fan and I know he’d love to come back. When? That’s another matter entirely.

Last week it was reported that the Liga leaders and the player reached a verbal agreement for the Spaniard to join them in the summer but such rumours were denied by the Barcelona in a denial statement.
