Kamil Zayatte: I would leave Hull if I could join Arsenal or another top club

Submitted by James on February 25, 2010 – 0:46 8 Comments

Hull City defender Kamil Zayatte revealed he was close to leave the club last month and would leave in the summer if one of the top four comes knocking. Speaking of his future, the Guinea International declared how Tottenham and West Ham wanted to sign him during the January transfer window but the high transfer fee asked by his club meant no agreement was reached.

This summer, he will be waiting for a call from a new club, ideally from Manchester United, Arsenal or Chelsea.

According to the Daily Mail, the 24-year old said:

I almost left Hull during the last transfer window. Tottenham and West Ham, were interested but Hull wanted too much money for me.

But I won’t give up. If all goes well I see myself at a bigger club than Hull. If I could land a move to Manchester United, Arsenal or Chelsea it would make all Guineans proud of me.

He can continue to dream. We need defenders but I think we can do better and I’ve started to like Michel Ciani. He’s been a real rock for Bordeaux and throws himself into all tackles, can head and has some decent power that could fight off the Drogbas and Rooneys in the EPL.

I think that is a bit cheeky and a this has bad timing, especially when Hull are fighting relegation now :O

That is a good dream for you, aim high

And I would like a date with Kylie Minogue if she would only ask for me but unfortunately I dont live in a dream Kamil.

  • Javi says:

We may need a deènder at Arsenal, he may be good but I dont like a player who says such things to /abt his employing club. Except of course if there is an obvious fall out and isnt getting games

  • mutiu jimoh says:

wenger wont sign him or any defender he will rather wait for johan djouru to come back next season to partner vehemaelen at d back, gallas if he sign new deal should be on d bench and syvelstre to go he’s not arsenal class.

  • Jason says:

Nah… Not a good addition to Arsenal I think.
I still put in great hope on Djourou to partner with Vermaelen.
Gallas on the bench with Campbell. =)

Take Nordtveit back from loan at Nuremberg pls…
We need a young + solid defender like him.
Same goes to Pedro as a cover for LB position.
Clichy can go when the price is right for him…
Silvestre, put him on the transfer list…

Goalie, splash some cash and get someone who is consistent.
We can’t bear to have flop performance like Fabianski.
Especially on the stage on Champ League and big games against ManUtd, Chel…
    We need someone with quality…

Hugo Lloris or Igor Akinfeev might be a good addition.
Mr AW, sign them please please please!!
