AS Roma manager Claudio Ranieri has completely changed the capital city’s side since he took over from Luciano Spalletti helping them climb up in the Italian Serie A table where they are now third, and having managed a draw last Saturday against AC Milan, they are now only seven points from leaders Inter.
Ranieri is however also thinking about next season and speaking of what his plans for the summer may be, the Italian revealed his admiration for Arsenal defender William Gallas. The Frenchman, 32, will be out of contract at the end of the season and Arsene Wenger’s policy is to only offer one-year to over 30 players, as it was the case of legend Dennis Bergkamp in his last years at the club.
Speaking of Gallas, Ranieri said:
Gallas is a player who has achieved so much in his career. I signed him when I was in charge at Chelsea and he has done well both for them and Arsenal. He is a top-level player and all top players are welcome at Roma.
