I’m glad bendtner answered his critics today with such a great performance, although he had a few bad first touches throughout the game, he was constantly holding up the ball, winning headers, and giving the porto defenders a tough time, grabbing his first hat trick to boot. I also have to credit to Nasri, with cesc out we coped with ease, nasri played a big part in todays win, with the great pass to arshavin that split the porto cb’s to his brilliant solo effort dribbling 3 defenders to score off the far post at an extremely tight angle, what a display! Eboue’s goal was also brilliant pulling the ball left around the keeper and sliding it in with his left foot. Credit to Arshavin for his role in 3 of the goals aswell as he was dribbling porto defenders ragged.I think most importantly in the absence of some key arsenal players, the rest of the squad really stood up to be counted today. If we can keep our team performances on that kind of level for the rest of the season, I think we will win the premiere league for sure!
i could never really believe that bendtner was a 25 goal a season player, but after that performance, who can say he wont, i thought against burnly he played well(for all his misses) and the arsenal’s intensity dropped once he was taken off!,
still buzing! 5-0, they had some moments but agree with mr wenger we controlled 80% of the game, and that says it all!
love the thai commentry on the vid link for nasri’s goal!
the guy dosen’t speak till the ball goes in!!
which was like many of us, i suspect!!!!!!
what a happy day!
