Emmanuel Eboue’s agent Franjo Vranjkovic has rubbished rumours linking the Ivory Coast International with a possible move away from Arsenal. By far one of the best players for the Gunners in recent appeareances, the 26-year old has been linked with a possible move to the Italian Serie A with Claudio Ranieri’s AS Roma but speaking to romagiallorossa.com, Vranjkovic revealed the player is happy in London.
Eboue, who was heavily criticised last season after the home game against Wigan, came back strongly this season and will most likely start in place of injured Bacary Sagna on Saturday, away against Hull City.
On his future, his agent said:
It isn’t true that Emmanuel is close to Roma. He is happy in England, he has a nice role. I don’t understand why this news has spread in Italy. Roma has had no contact with me or with our staff. I can say with confidence that the player is very happy in England and it is unlikely he will move.
