Alex Ferguson on the Premiership battle, “Arsenal might yet mount the biggest challenge”

Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson has yet again confirmed he was wrong when saying it will be a two-horse race for the English Premiership, as he again admitted Arsenal are a worry for his side. The Gunners enjoyed a late win away at Hull City, meaning that they keep the pressure on the top two. According to Ferguson, the Red Devils are favourites for the title, knowing that Chelsea have to pay a visit to Old Trafford, a match he described as “massive”.
The 68-year old is aware of the fact that Arsenal have already faced the likes of Manchester United, Chelsea, Liverpool and Aston Villa, unlike his side and Chelsea.
Speaking after last Sunday’s easy win over Fulham, Ferguson said
We are back in the lead, but Chelsea have a game in hand. It’s also going to be a hard-fought tussle with Arsenal coming strongly now and I have a suspicion that they might yet mount the biggest challenge.
To a certain extent, the title is in our hands because Chelsea have to come to Old Trafford and, naturally, that will be a massive match but, as I say, I am wary of Arsenal if they don’t suffer too many more injuries to key players.
