The agent of Arsenal right back Bacary Sagna, Christophe Mongai, rubbished rumours about a possible move by his client away from the North London club. Reports revealed that the 27-year old could be on his way to the Italian Serie A, with AS Roma or Juventus, but speaking to Calciomercato.it, Mongai declared the player is very happy with the Gunners.

The Frenchman joined Arsenal from Auxerre in 2007 and immediately became one of the favourites amongst supporters after putting back-to-back solid performances at the back. His only goal for the Gunners came on March 23, 2008, when he put the Gunners in front against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Speaking on his future, his agent said:

Sagna is very well at Arsenal and I don’t think right now there may be a club willing to make an important offer for the player. If not, in front of a valid proposal, Arsenal could think about it. Roma and Juventus? Nobody has called me from Italy.
