Cesc Fabregas’ father rubbished reports he had a meeting with Real Madrid director general Jorge Valdano in order to discuss the future of his son.
Earlier this week, the usual suspects published the false news that Cesc Fabregas senior was in Madrid last Sunday to meet chairman Florentino Perez and reach an agreement for his son to move to the Spanish giants.
But, speaking to Catalan media, he categorically denied what reports wrote, also explaining how a meeting with Jorge Valdano never took place. Meanwhile, from more trusted sources, it was nice to read team mate Alex Song revealing how the captain told him he will surely stay with Arsenal.
Francesc Fabregas Sr. said:
I was not at the Santiago Bernabeu last Sunday to speak with Florentino Perez. I have spent the weekend at home. A meeting with Valdano? It is totally false.
This morning (Monday), I have been walking around Barcelona with my daughter, this is the only truth.
