Samir Nasri on Marouane Chamakh, “It would be a great signing for us, he would fit perfectly in our team”

Written by Chris on April 21, 2010 – 20:00

With this season soon coming to a close, Marouane Chamakh is surely the name which will dominate the headlines in terms of Arsenal transfer news.

The 26-year old has never been closer to the Gunners after Arsene Wenger confirmed that the striker has a good chance of joining the North London Club. Meanwhile, speaking of the Moroccan, midfielder Samir Nasri revealed he would be delighted to play alongside him.

Nasri explained how the Bordeaux man would be a “great” signing as he plays for the team, never gives up and would have no problems in settling down at Arsenal.

He said:

It would be a great signing for us. He is a player that I really like. Chamakh plays for the team, gives everything and works very hard. He has big potential and would fit perfectly in our team.
