Sol Campbell: Soon, there will be no stopping Arsenal winning trophies season after season

Not that anyone has anything against faith, especially if you’re an Arsenal fan, but many would contend that one needs much more than conviction if one is expected to succeed in life. But having stood atop the mountain before, Sol Campbell believes that his squad only needs to embrace the idea of being winners to actual win.
Winning the Premiership may not be as easy as online casino blackjack but let’s face it, it’s been a tough five seasons for The Gunners – the last they bested the Premier League competition. And while Wenger may finally be deciding to fork over the funding necessary to bring in top talent for next season, it may very well be an old Arsenal favorite that helps lead the team to victory.
Wenger’s Invincibles of the 2003-04 season were led by the now 35-year-old Sol Campbell. And after returning to the team this year, the old dog proved he still knew a few tricks. Even still, Arsenal produced yet another season without any silverware to show off. But according to an Campbell, “there will be no stopping (Arsenal) when everything eventually comes together”.
Campbell is sure that, with the “right balance”, everything will fall into place. The team already has the talent, claims Campbell, “We just have to believe we can win a major trophy”.
Speaking to the club’s official website, the Englishman said:
The main thing is you have got to get the right balance. There is a fantastic amount of talent here and we just have to believe we can win a major trophy – and you also need a bit of the rub of the green now and again.
That said, I believe you make your own luck in the game – how you play, how you conduct yourselves, how you approach matches, making sure you are seriously thinking about football, you create luck with all those things combined.
Training-wise, you have to work on your weaknesses, preparing yourself properly for the game, on and off the field.
It is not that you have to be locked up 24/7, but I think all these things do add up – you ensure that things go your way by doing all the things which come before you actually step on the pitch.
We have got a lot of that in place here and I am sure that, once everything comes together, there will be no stopping Arsenal winning trophies season after season.
You have to truly believe in your skill and trust that you can do something. Wherever we finish, we will have to build on it and keep on going.
