More and more goalkeepers keep on being linked with Arsenal especially now that legend Bob Wilson asked questions on Manuel Almunia and Lukasz Fabianski.
According to the Metro, Notts County’s Kasper Schmeichel is the last name goalkeeper to be linked with a possible move to Arsenal which would be ironic, considering his father, Peter, was a legend for rivals Manchester United.
Meanwhile, former Arsenal goalkeeper Bob Wilson revealed he is worried for the current situation in goal, declaring how he hopes that Almunia or Fabianski manage to fit the bill although time is running out because so much pressure is building on these two.
In other news, the name of Felipe Melo is again associated with the Gunners ahead of this summer’s transfer window, with the fee rumored to be around the £15 million. With Aaron Ramsey set to spend months on the sidelines, Arsene Wenger – who last March admitted he is following the midfielder – could decide to make an offer for the Brasilian.
And finally, a recap of yesterday’s poll results. For the first time since we started this space, the “No” wins over the “Yes” as our readers prefer to see Steven N’Zonzi and Phil Jones stick to Blackburn.
