World Cup Chat Room, June 13: ALG vs SVN, SRB vs GHA and GER vs AUS

It’s day three in South Africa and we can easily say that yesterday provided more exciting than the inaugural day despite lacking in goals.
Lionel Messi’s Argentina disappointed according to many, but I wouldn’t be too harsh as every team is showing signs of nerves on their first match in the competition. Nigeria impressed however and could have easily snatched a late equaliser which in all honest, they would have deserved.
After the evening match, it was Rob Green’s disaster dominating the headlines of English papers as he gifted a goal to the United States right before the end of the first half. Make no mistake, the Americans dominated in several parts of the match and they fully deserve the point they earned.
As for today, we have a couple of interesting games, especially the last two. Serbia seem well equipped to go far in the competition and I will surely be watching that one as Aleksandar Kolarov – a player I like very much – will be in action. He is one I would opt for if Gael Clichy does leave as many reports suggest.
The chat room is now open, is available below and will stay open for as long as you friends want. Keep it clean, enjoy and make sure to join in every day.
