Transfer Recap: The 58 players linked with Arsenal during the month of June
Written by James on July 2, 2010 18:00
It is an impressive list and it could easily turn out that none of the below will eventually join Arsenal, but we are providing below a recap of all the transfer rumours we published in the month of June.
What immediately catches the eye is the fact that the likes of Mesut Ozil, Taye Taiwo, Vincent Enyeama and Madjid Bougherra were linked with the Gunners after impressing – in a way or another – during the 2010 World Cup Finals and in Enyeama’s case, being a goalkeeper, the link comes as no surprise considering our emergency at the back.
Also making the list is of course Joe Cole who according to reports is being chased by Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur and A.C. Milan in Italy, with some believing David Beckham was the one who recommended the 28-year old to the Serie A club.
To conclude, the complete list of all the players linked with the Gunners during the month of June is below, sorted from the most recent to the oldest link. As we’ve been doing for the last months, we will keep on updating our readers with rumours, knowing of course that they should be taken with a pinch of salt.
