Blackburn vs Arsenal: Team line-ups, half-time thoughts and match chat

The Game
Contrary to last week, few of us have this feeling that it will be an easy game for the Gunners as we travel to Ewood Park to face Sam Allardyce’s Blackburn.
After easing past Blackpool on the second day of the English Premiership thanks to Theo Walcott’s hat-trick, we today face for the first time in our season a team which could be easily classified as rugby-like. Has Arsenal finally learned how to approach and face these type of teams? Who will Arsene Wenger start with? Will it Emmanuel Eboue on the right or will it be Tomas Rosicky?
Though temporary, three points could mean top of the table as we would of course move on seven points against the six of Chelsea, the only team yet to draw or lose a game this season. But it’s early days to think about the table. For now, let’s just enjoy the game, hoping it ends with the Gunners, as winners.
As always, please do join the discussion in our chat room which will also be active after the full time whistle. You will be glad to know that from this season, to provide a better chat experience to our readers, users can be banned if they post offensive comments.

Half-Time Thoughts and Analysis
Well, we knew it.
Keeping a clear sheet was never going to be an option this afternoon although I would have never to concede like that. The poor defending by Laurent Koscielny clearly showed that Liverpool was not enough to judge as the way he was turned by Diouf was simply embarrassing.
Offensively we’re good though and this is why I believe we will win this one. We just need to keep it simply and shoot when we get the opportunity.
At half time, it’s Blackburn one, Arsenal one.
