According to the Mirror, Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri is ahead of time in his recovery process from knee surgery and is expected to feature next week against Bolton.
The Frenchman underwent minor surgery on his knee following a meniscal injury suffered in Arsenal’s first game of the season at Anfield against Liverpool and was expected to be sidelined for a month but he is reportedly back in training, hoping to regain full fitness in time for the September 11 game, at the Emirates, against Bolton.
In other news, it is not yet known when striker Nicklas Bendtner will finally make his comeback for the Gunners after reports suggested he could be out until the end of the year. Last week, Denmark boss Morten Olsen revealed the 22-year old will not feature for the National team this year, meaning that he will be sidelined at least until the first weeks of October.
But, other sources have revealed that the player’s father said how his son is recovering well from his injury although just like manager Arsene Wenger he did admit how the striker is still one month away from making his comeback.
A total of twelve players have been selected to represent their country in International matches over the following week with Arsenal of course hoping to see all their players making a healthy return to the Club.
