Ahead of the 2010/2011 campaign, Arsenal have submitted its Premier League and Champions League squads which were published on the club’s official website and UEFA’s website respectively last week.

In accordance with the new Premier League rules, a 20-man squad divided as Homegrown and Non-homegrown was submitted. Homegrown players are defined as those who, irrespective of nationality or age, have been affiliated to the FA or Welsh FA for a period of three seasons or 36 months prior to their 21st birthday.

The Champions League sees players divided in an A List and in a B List, with players in each list equally eligible for selection for games. Regulations mean the A List consists of the majority of the first team squad while young players who have been at Arsenal for at least two seasons since turning 15 make up the B List(*).

The Gunners were drawn with Shakhtar Donetsk, Braga and Partizan Belgrade in the Group H of this season’s Champions League group stage and would be able to make changes to the squad for the knockout stages.
