After impressive wins over Bolton and Braga in the Premier League and Champions League respectively, Arsenal travel to the Stadium of Light today to face Steve Bruce’s Sunderland.

With Chelsea in action on Sunday, Arsene Wenger’s men will know that a win will put them top on the table, albeit for less than 24 hours. Nicklas Bendtner, Robin van Persie, Thomas Vermaelen, Abou Diaby and Theo Walcott are all out injured for the Gunners who will hope to see Cesc Fabregas replicate last Wednesday’s form as the Spaniard was simply formidable in the Champions League.
