Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger will travel to Serbia with 18 players for the Champions League against Partizan with goalkeeper Manuel Almunia and midfielder Abou Diaby not in the squad.
The Spaniard suffered a shoulder injury in the West Brom game lost at the Emirates with the Frenchman looking out of sorts in midfield. Lukasz Fabianski will take over from Almunia in goal with Wojciech Szczesny on the bench ready to be involved if required.
The Gunners comfortably won their first game of the group after easing past Braga but are under pressure after suffering a shock defeat against West Brom on Saturday. Arsene Wenger will of course be hoping to see a reaction from his players who will face Chelsea on Sunday in a very tough away game at Stamford Bridge.
Also not included in the squad are captain Cesc Fabregas, strikers Robin van Persie, Theo Walcott and Nicklas Bendtner as well as defender Thomas Vermaelen. The Belgian and the Spaniard will hope to recover in time to face Chelsea at the end of the week.
