With yesterday’s 0-3 win over Manchester City away from home, Arsenal can look forward with optimism having moved up to second in the table.
Two players who were phenomenal for the Gunners were goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski and midfielder Samir Nasri. The Polish International made sure to block everything the home side threw at him and the Frenchman was again a key element with his goal and assists.
Speaking after the game, manager Arsene Wenger explained how the 23-year old is becoming more efficient and physically stronger with the Frenchman adding how he is a complete player, quick and clinical in front of goal.
On the goalkeeper, Wenger said that he is finally showing on the pitch what he sees everyday in training. The manager concluded by saying how the 25-year old is a very talented goalkeeper and how he fully believes in his capabilities.
After the game, Wenger said:
[Nasri] is becoming more efficient. I think he has become stronger physically and you judge a player with his numbers.
Today he had a goal and an assist so that’s what you want from players who have a lot of talent like he has. He is quite a complete player because he can run with the ball, he is quick and he is a clinical finisher now. I believe we have a great player in him now.
From game to game [Fabianski] shows what we see in training. Sometimes in our job you have to be steady and fight against opinions. It’s easier for you when you know the player has the talent and I believe he has the talent.
