Arsene Wenger: Wojciech Szczesny and Carlos Vela to start tomorrow

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger confirmed that the Gunners will take tomorrow’s game against Newcastle seriously, as they want to reach the end of the Carling Cup.
Speaking this afternoon, the Frenchman explained how strikers Theo Walcott, Nicklas Bendtner and Carlos Vela are all in the squad and will start against Chris Hughton’s side. Also back in the squad is defender Laurent Koscielny who recovered from his back injury and will also start from the first minute.
Following last Sunday’s impressive 0-3 win away against Manchester City, the manager will rest key players but there are no fresh injury concerns in the squad.
The Gunners travel to Newcastle knowing that the home side could start with youngsters Shane Ferguson, Nile Ranger and Haris Vuckic although former Arsenal defender Sol Campbell is not fit to play.
Wenger concluded by confirming that Craig Eastmond, Henri Lansbury and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas will all be in the squad and could feature with Wojciech Szczesny to take over from Lukasz Fabianski in goal.
On Tuesday, Wenger said:
It will be similar to Spurs. We have players coming back like Walcott, Bendtner and Vela. Koscielny is fit to start. They will play.
From the Man City game, we have no-one out [with injury]. One or two will be rested. Vela is back.
In the squad, we will have Eastmond, Lansbury and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas. Wojciech will be in goal.
