Carlos Vela agent rubbishes exit rumours: No meeting with the Club

Carlos Vela’s agent Eduardo Hernández denied that his client wants to leave Arsenal but confessed the Mexican wants more minutes just like any other player.
The agent is quoted as saying by mediotiempo.com how no offers were made for the 21-year old and also how it is not true that he will meet with the Club to discuss the future of the youngster, hence confirming what he previously told the Daily Mail when he said how Arsenal want him to stay in the squad and how the player’s obsession is still to succeed at the Club.
About the striker’s lack of action with the regular side, Hernández added how any player wants to play and his client is no different.
Rumours last week suggested Javier Aguirre’s Real Zaragoza are ready to make a move for the player but Hernández said there is no truth in the link.
Vela signed a new contract with the North London Club last year with his agent saying how his future would only be uncertain the moment an official offer is made by a different club, which at the moment, is yet to be made.
On his client, Hernández said:
I didn’t receive any offers. No calls, no questions, nothing.
The player never said he wants to leave Arsenal, that’s just a rumour and it’s also false that I will meet with Arsenal representatives to discuss the future of Vela. I didn’t plan or schedule any trips to England.
Any football player would be delighted to play for Arsenal and Carlos wants to be part of the Arsenal team. And he wants to play, that’s all he asks, every players wants to contribute after all.
Carlos is under contract with the Gunners. A player’s future becomes uncertain the moment an offer is made by a different club but this is not the case for Carlos.
