On-loan Arsenal striker Carlos Vela saved West Bromwich Albion’s Roy Hodgson from heavy criticism after he grabbed a late equaliser for his side against Wolves.
Surprisingly on the bench, the Mexican came on in the last part of the game and was very quick to make an impact after turning inside the box and firing goalwards seconds after his introduction with goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey doing well to deny the youngster.
But, deep into stoppage time, the 21-year old was well positioned in the Wolves penalty area to tuck the ball in and give the home side a very important point which means they stay above their rivals in the English Premier League table.
Vela will stay with the Baggies until the end of the season with manager Arsene Wenger revealing this year that he wants the striker to get as much time on the pitch as possible as he rates him very high.
