Manchester United vs Arsenal: Team line-ups, half-time thoughts and match chat

The Game
Only a few weeks ago we were competing in all four competitions but as it is almost always the case in football, things can change quickly.
What is in front of us today is a very important target which if missed could mean that in early March we are only competing for one competition, the English Premier League. Now maybe that would not be a disaster but surely it would not be what we were aiming for until a couple of weeks ago.
The Red Devils know what they have to do today: frustrate us from start to finish with “professional” yet dirty fouls in order to see the likes of Samir Nasri and Robin van Persie lose their heads and fail to concentrate when on the ball. For some it worked, hopefully, for Alex Ferguson’s men, it will not.
The home side have a Champions League game to look forward to next week but I wouldn’t say that this will be an advantage for us because as we have demonstrated over and over again including against Sunderland, it is not recommended to focus on the “next” game as the most important one is the one you are playing today.
But anyway, let’s go lads, this is a must-win game if we are to keep our double dream alive and it is a must to be at our best if we are to at least force a replay.
And, until you wait for kick-off, check out Bacary Sagna’s comments on the Barcelona referee and why we are dropping points because of bad decisions from the officials. And also why according to Sebastien Squillaci, winning today’s game would be a huge psychological boost in this season’s title race.
