Ray Parlour, “I’d love to see Gary Cahill at Arsenal”

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has yet again said that Bolton’s Gary Cahill would be a perfect signing for the Gunners during the summer transfer window.
Speaking to talkSport, the Englishman was full of praise for the Englishman, by him described as brilliant. Only two months ago, Parlour was telling Sky Sports that the Bolton Wanderers man would be the perfect signing to make during the January transfer window had Thomas Vermaelen failed to recover from his Achilles problem and it seems the 38-year old still rates the defender very highly.
As things turned out, the Belgium International failed to recover from injury and will probably not feature for the Gunners in their last nine games of the season.
Arsenal signed Laurent Koscielny and Sebastien Squillaci during last summer’s transfer window with the young Frenchman doing exceptionally well in his first season at the club as he formed a fantastic partnership with Switzerland International Johan Djourou at the heart of the Gunners defence.
On Cahill, Parlour said:
I’d love to see Gary Cahill at Arsenal, he’s be brilliant for the centre-half role. Whether that happens we’ll have to wait and see.

Why bother. Wenger listens to noone. We all know who should go and who should come in but we are not the managers. Does Arsenal have an assistant – I don’t think so. There’s a guy who sits on the bench with his arms folded (Pat Rice I think his name is). Someone should poke him now and then just to make sure he is alive.
Enough said!!!!
