Denmark striker Nicklas Bendtner is set to stay at Arsenal for at least one more season after he rubbished rumours about a possible exit.
Speaking to Sporten.dk, the 23-year old confessed he met with manager Arsene Wenger to discuss his future with the Frenchman saying that he should not look for a new club.
After suffering an injury last summer, the Denmark International lost his place as central striker at Arsenal with Marouane Chamakh taking over and doing impressively well in the first part of the season. And, after Robin van Persie made his return from injury, Bendtner was used in an uncharacteristic right-wing position where he clearly doesn’t belong.
According to reports, German side Hamburg are interested in signing the 23-year old who scored nine goals in all competitions for the Gunners this season.
On his future, he said:
I have certainly talked to Wenger. But he has not told me that I should look for a new club to play for after the summer or that he is not satisfied with me.
