Samir Nasri, “I don’t know if I will sign a new contract”

It seems more and more likely for Arsenal to face another Mathieu Flamini “case” as midfielder Samir Nasri confessed he is not sure that his future will be at Arsenal next season.

Speaking to TF1’s Telefoot, the 23-year old explained that discussions are ongoing but he opted not to commit himself saying that negotiations will resume after France’s game against Poland on Tuesday.

Last week, manager Arsene Wenger declared that whatever happens with the youngster, he will not be sold to Manchester United, something that however the 23-year old didn’t rule out as he said that one has to see if interest from the Red Devils is real or just a summer rumour.

Nasri was one of the best players for the Gunners this season as he was the second best goalscorer with 15 goals, 10 in the English Premier League, 2 in the Champions League, 1 in the F.A. Cup and 2 in the Carling Cup.

On his future, the Frenchman said:

I don’t know if I will sign a new contract. Anyway, the discussions are ongoing. For the moment, I don’t think about this. We will speak about it after the match with Poland.

Do I want to go to Man United? First, we should see if it’s real and if it is concrete.
