Brazilian midfielder Denílson Pereira Neves will not be an Arsenal player next season after accepting to move back to his country, on loan.
Speaking to the Club’s official website, the 23-year old confirmed that an agreement has been reached between Arsenal and a Brazilian Club adding that he will hopefully enjoy regular football with his new team.
On what it means to leave Arsenal after six years, the midfielder confessed that he leaves with sadness as he will leave behind many friends and people who supported him during his time at the Club.
On what his message to the fans is, Denilson concluded by showing his gratitude to them as he confessed that next season he will keep an eye on the Premier League and Champions League to monitor the progress of the Gunners.
Before leaving for Brazil, he said:
I will be playing in Brazil next season as I felt that this is a good opportunity for me to play regular first-team football.
I move away with sadness because I have so many friends at Arsenal and everyone has always been so supportive towards me.
I want to say thank you to the Club, and of course, also a big thank you to all the Arsenal fans who are very special.
I’m now focused on doing well in Brazil next season, but will always be looking out for the Arsenal results. It is a great Club with many great players, a good team spirit and a top-class manager. I wish you well for next season.

Good luck Denilson. You seem like a decent bloke but you didn’t develop enough for Arsenal.
